Refugee Ministry

Refugee ministry is an outreach opportunity for deacons and congregations. This ministry provides assistance to people who have been forced to flee their home countries and seek refuge in Canada.

Diaconal Ministries Canada partners with World Renew www.worldrenew.net/refugeesponsorship to promote the Refugee Program within Canadian CRC churches. World Renew provides the overall direction and day to day oversight and management of the Refugee Program. World Renew seeks the support and collaboration of DMC in the promotion and effective implementation of the Refugee Program with CRC churches.

Working together, World Renew and DMC seek to encourage church sponsorship of refugees and to ensure sponsored refugees are well received and supported by Canadian CRC churches.
