Diaconal Ministries Canada collaborates with Christian Stewardship Services (CSS) and the Canadian Ministries Office of the CRCNA. This collaborative network defines stewardship as a "journey in which congregations and individuals joyfully and obediently manage the talents, treasures, time and other resources that God has given them to be Christ's presence in our neighbourhoods and communities around the world."
“Inspiring Faithful Stewardship" is an important dimension of diaconal ministry. Deacons are responsible for stimulating the members of the church to faithful stewardship of their time, talents, money and creation.
A suggested list of books, DVDs, videos, courses, and links are available: Stewardship Resources. A variety of stewardship resources are available from Faith Alive Christian Resources. They range from a student's study to family devotions to developing a strategy for making stewardship an ongoing, self-renewing part of congregational life. Your order may be placed on the site itself or by calling 1-800-333-8300.
