This kit provides a brief overview of diaconal ministry. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) answers some of the immediate questions that you may have about diaconal ministry in the local church.

A quarterly newsletter, Partners, provides inspirational material for meaningful dialogue as well as suggestions for new opportunities for ministry.

You can also access brochures for the Community Opportunity Scan and the Operation Manna program. These brochures provide information about the support that is available for churches to strengthen their outreach ministry.

Pastor Orientation Kit
The pastor is the senior leader in the congregation and, along with the elders, is a significant partner in the development of the ministry of mercy. This kit was developed to inform pastors about the role of deacons and the mission of Diaconal Ministries Canada. The folder contains resources available to churches through Diaconal Ministry Developers and regional staff. It also contains printed promotional materials for Operation Manna, the Community Opportunity Scan and a list of available workshops.
